Why do most people root for the underdog?
In my opinion most people root for the underdog because they can actually relate to them. Probably everyone had a situation in their life in which they felt weaker, worse and without any chance against their opponent. That is why we usually feel satisfied with the success of the underdog.
Many of us also prefer unexpected results more than obvious winnings. When the same person or team wins again, it becomes boring for the audience. People like the elements of surprise so when someone unexpected wins it’s more celebrated and also remembered.
So that’s why people prefer rooting for the underdogs. We can identify to their situations and feel surprised about the unexpected results.
It's a good paragraph (if it was one, not three paragraphs).
